Our Story

Sam Serrapede and Antony Xavier, who have several decades of experience in Insurance and Technology, started Simplesolve in the year 2000 with a vision of creating an affordable yet feature rich system for P&C Insurance. Years of insurance systems implementations and work flow experience went into creating SimpleInsure, a versatile Insurance Administration System that can be installed and customized for most P&C lines.

Managing Commercial Multi-Peril Policies can sometimes be quite a challenge for both an underwriter and a computer system, considering the multiple facets to such a policy. The focus of the design and layout of our system was to make it easy for the user to manage the many moving parts on a policy. We have created a system that is well organized and easy to use making the user more efficient and helping to minimize errors.

Our journey in designing an effective solution for Multi-Peril policies was definitely very interesting. It was unlike other commercial or personal lines. The fact that there were multiple LOBs to be integrated into a single policy, with each LOB having its own set of coverages was the first thing that set it apart. The next aspect was having to support Multi-level risks; Multiple Locations with each Location potentially having thousands of Buildings and each Location and/or Building having a common or an independent set of coverages. Claims required coverage part specific data capture. But we did it ‑ we created a system that is very intuitive, easy to use, and that has proven itself in a production environment for over a decade.
